Hey Lawvol, First off I love the new banner for coach Summit, Second I love the reference to 300 and Sparta, I really think you should photo shop a pic of Lane the Train, kicking Urban Cryer into that Well. It would go Viral in a heartbeat ..about the whole Incident, like I said in my post whats next recorders and monitors in the locker room?

You know, he may have meant it in the sense that he thought it wasn’t allowed, but I question how seriously anyone can take the whole “reporting him now” given the context and way it was said. It’s hyperbole meant to strike two nerves: inflame Vol fans and enrage the Gators.

In both cases it worked.

Still, it does make things interesting.

Oh, and HSH, as editor, it’s my perogative to now require you to apologize to Florida. There is no SEC rule against Coach Meyer being a jerk to everyone in the SEC. Mike Slive sent me an email asking that I reprimand you. lol!

first, 300 is a BAMF movie, so I liked that video..

second, talk about giving the program a little shot in the arm. media outlets everywhere (top story on ESPN.com’s CFB page, SportsCenter/PTI talked about it, Rivals message boards everywhere are a twitter) are mentioning Tennessee. granted, most of it is bashing and ridicule, but we needed an attitude change here in Knoxville, and we got it with Lane and this staff. I would say he shouldn’t have said Urban “cheated,” but I’m all for the jab and the “sincere” apology. where was Slive when Spurrier took the recruiting test shot at Lane when he was hired?

also to point out, he hasn’t gone after Les Miles yet, but LSU fans seem to hate us nonetheless, with how the whol Jackson thing went down (they’re just bitter, really)

finally, screw Florida/Meyer/Foley all of them…we ain’t scared anymore!

Thanks for the linkage! I thought your commentary was spot-on, except that I believed Kiffin was serious. Or at least — unlike some folks on that thread — that someone doesn’t have to be stupid or blind to think he was being serious.
