Is it over for Coach Fulmer?

Despite what GoVols Xtra is reporting, my good friends over at 3SIB are reporting that, based upon information from reliable sources, it has been determined that Phillip Fulmer will not be retained at the end of the season. This seems consistent with Basilio’s report yesterday that Mike Hamilton had asked to meet with Coach Fulmer’s agent, Jimmy Sexton.
If it is truly over, I really am not sure how I should respond. I am terribly conflicted on this issue. I want to think on this a bit before spouting out my thoughts. I will have something more meaningful on this point — hopefully — a little later today.
In the meantime, I’ll just mirror the sentiments of Ghost of Neyland:
I don’t know how I feel right now. This is exciting news. It’s also sad news. Phillip Fulmer is a bonafide Tennessee legend. If it’s true — and I believe it is — the change, the complete change and rebuilding phase is upon us…
