I don't know that I'll technically be "pulling" for anybody. Nobody is going to expect Wyoming to win, unless UT comes in with an atrocious losing record and Wyoming comes in undefeated (and even then, it'd be close).

What I most hope for is a quality game from both teams. That sounds corny as heck, but follow me on this. Wyoming's only real bowl hope is to get an automatic bid (they didn't get a bid when they went 10-2 and ranked as high as 13 in 1997 - the same year Notre Dame declined a bowl game because they were a mere 8-3 and didn't think they got a high enough bid). The UT game does nothing for Wyo's bowl chances since it's OOC. UT, however, must win. Though it doesn't alter SEC standings, losing would destroy their high-end bowl hopes.

I guess the winning scenario would be a win by UT with both teams coming in respectable and both teams playing a great game. But I'm not going to be disappointed for the loser, so long as the game is good.

And I still despise Notre Dame for their bowl snobbery that year. That one hurt.

Much as I hope for Wyoming to make a bowl, it's close to impossible for the MWC to send 4 teams. If BYU, Utah and TCU have 3, Wyoming will be left out - particularly because they're a smaller school.

And yes, I'm looking forward to the color clash.

Wyoming could make a bowl this year - behind BYU, Utah, and TCU the MWC is up-for-grabs this year and they get three winnable non-conference home games as well...that said we should still roll them...

talk about a color clash...brown/gold amidst orange? almost as interesting as it will be for the upcoming Oregon games in a couple years...
