I hadn't really thought about it, but I see your point. I guess I wasn't really trying so much to say "you all are great guys as people" (which I understand them to be), as I was trying to thank them for sticking with the program and not giving up on Tennessee.

My ultimate point in this article was simply to say, despite all they have accomplished as players in terms of wins and losses, the fact they stuck it out and saw both the best and worst really resonates to me.

I am simply thanking them for giving everything they had in the tank for four years (and in Jordan's case it was actually 5 since he redshirted) no matter what the circumstances were.

I suppose I should have just said that instead of all the overly verbose rambling.

Anyway, glad you like the site, and feel free to comment or complain at any time.

First off, I want to say that this was a great article. I grew up watching Tennessee basketball and remember just wanting a program who could get INTO the tournament. Now I will be pretty dissappointed with anything BUT a one seed. But your ending kinda made me raise an eyebrow, especially when you said this:

"I want to personally thank Jordan, Chris and JaJuan not so much for what they did on the court, but for the type of people they are."

I'm sorry but there is no way that without what these guys did on the court, you would even be writing about UT basketball much less giving these seniors accolades. They are great people, really they are, but Buzz was a great guy too. He did some pretty good things off the court and he was at least "liked" but we aren't writing him any thank you's. Actually I think our thank you was "thanks but no thanks."

Ha I don't even know why I ranted about this I love this site and think its great that line just annoyed me I guess. I also kind of want to hear your response to it.
