I have huge respect for Bear Bryant and for Alabama (<a href="http://gate21.net/2008/07/13/the-state-of-hate-football-rivalries-at-tennessee/" rel="nofollow">as I have written on more than one occasion</a>), but I make fun of everyone (including Tennessee). I have no true hatred for Alabama. As I said in the article linked in the paragraph above: I hate to lose to Alabama, I do not hate Alabama -- I consider the Tide true rivals because the relaationship between the Vols and the Tide is one grounded on respect. At any rate, sorry that it came across as if I was trying to actually attack Coach Bryant -- that was not my goal. Either way, thanks for stopping by and for commenting. We like him because he is a legend. I know he's not on the sidelines anymore, and that's no secret. But you honestly seem to have some deeper issues than just a typical rivalry--your 'hate' issues goes much deeper. How sad!
